Beshar, I just wanted to thank you for your contribution to the Musicians for the Aid of the Iraiq Children charity project. I hope other visitors to your site will be as inspired as yourelf in doing so. To follow is the information about the charity and a link where your contribution can be viewed.

Thank you!

The charity, Musicians for the Aid of the Iraqi Children (MAIC), is now accepting musical contributions as candidates to be included in the MAIC album. The intention of the charity is to raise money for medicine and food through the sales of a amusical album. The MAIC album will be compiled from contribution of musicians from all around the world. Musical contributions need not be about the Iraqi children nor the sanctions against Iraq, but 'normal' work. However, An all stars song about the suffering in Iraq will be included in the album to mark the main aim of the album.

If you are a musician, please consider participating in the MAIC album. It is expected that the MAIC album will achieve record world wide sales hence it will be an opportunity for international exposure to many artists.

The charity also accepts financial aid that will be solely used for studio time and for the press of the final CDs and tapes of the MAIC album.

Further information can be found at the MAIC site. Alternatively, please send an e-mail to the MAIC organisers at maic@iraqimusic.com for more information.
